Dr. Richard Ross
|
|
Richard Ross is husband to LaJuana, who has joined him in a lifetime of loving teenagers. They are parents of college student Clayton. Richard served as youth minister for thirty years and now is a volunteer with teenagers and parents at Wedgwood Baptist in Fort Worth. Richard is professor to the next generation of youth ministers at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth. Since its inception, Richard has served as the spokesperson for the international True Love Waits movement.

Christian George

Christian George enjoys preaching, writing, and travelling to hole-in-the-wall places. He is the author of five books including Sacred Travels, Sex, Sushi, and Salvation, and Godology. Christian currently lives with his wife, Rebecca, in St. Andrews, Scotland, where he works on a PhD in theology, when he is not chasing a golf ball from bunker to bunker. Elaine Helms

Elaine Helms provides leadership at the North American Mission Board (NAMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention in the area of prayer. Her responsibilities include mobilization of missionary prayer support; networking with national, state, associational, and church prayer leaders; oversight of the NAMB Prayer Web site, www.Namb.Net/Prayer; and encouraging Southern Baptists to pray for revival and spiritual awakening.
Elaine represents Southern Baptists on the Denominational Prayer Leaders Network, the National Prayer Committee, and is past president of Christian Women United. She also helps churches begin and develop prayer ministries by teaching on prayer at state convention and associational conferences, by consultation with individual churches, and speaking at prayer retreats, banquets, and meetings.
Author of several books, Elaine wrote, If My People...Pray, Steps to Effective Church Prayer Ministry, to help Noonday Baptist Association churches, when she was the Prayer Ministry Coordinator for twelve years at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. Thousands of churches have used this book across the country and around the world. Her 2008 book, Prayer 101: What Every Intercessor Needs to Know, has already been used by hundreds of churches to train members to pray. Books are available at the conference.

Dr. Jim Kinnebrew

Dr. Jim serves the Lord as Professor of Theology and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia (Metro-Atlanta), GA. His class on Spiritual Formation is one of the most popular on the university campus.
Jim’s doctoral dissertation, The Charismatic Doctrine of Positive Confession: A Historical, Exegetical and Theological Critique, is authoritative and has been cited by virtually everyone who has written on the Word-Faith movement. He has also written journal articles and mentors Christian leaders through a number of email newsletters, including TentMakersTips.
Jim and his wife, Sandy live with their three dogs in Covington, GA and are the parents of three grown sons and grandparents of a beautiful granddaughter.

Jay Johnston
|

Jay Johnston serves as the Associate Pastor of FBC Covington, LA. He is a native of New Orleans and is a graduate of LA College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Louisiana, Florida and Tennessee. He also served for twenty years with LifeWay Christian Resources (formerly called the Baptist Sunday School Board.) He is married to Jerilyn Gaspard Johnston and they have two sons Grady who is married to Ann and a son Jody.
