Christian George
|
|
Christian George is a writer, speaker, and current PhD student. He and his wife, Rebecca live in the University of St Andrews, Scotland. Christian holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Beeson Divinity School and a Bachelor of Science from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
Christian speaks widely in colleges, universities, and youth camps throughout North America and has written dozens of articles related to Christian living, postmodernity, spiritual disciplines, and others. He is currently working on his sixth book publication. Alongside pursing his PhD, he also presents academic papers throughout Britain and Europe on subjects related to medieval pilgrimage, the theology of the puritans, the Christology and Ethics of Charles Haddon Spurgeon, among others.

Dr. Gregory Frizzell
|
|
Dr. Gregory Frizzell has served as the Prayer & Spiritual Awakening Specialist for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma for the past eight years. He has served as a pastor for over 20 years, is a well-known author and conference leader all across the nation and in other countries and has hosted numerous radio programs. He has written over 25 books and resources on prayer, church renewal, evangelism and spiritual awakening. His book Returning to Holiness has been translated into thirty-nine languages and is approaching two million copies. Dr. Frizzell is also an appointed missionary with the North American Mission Board with the specific responsibilities of church and association wide prayer and renewal. He has a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary and a Doctorate from New Orleans Seminary. He is also founder and president of Gregory Frizzell Ministries which produces conferences and resources in the United States and other nations.
Dr. Frizzell's topic for the conference is:
“Spiritual Cleansing that Brings Personal and Church-wide Revival” – This workshop will help participants embrace personal and church-wide patterns that release the manifest presence of God. We will explore practical ways to experience deep cleansing and surrender by grace through faith. Participants will learn how to experience the joy of repentance without falling into legalism or self-effort. Dr. Frizzell will share resources that can transform individuals, families, or whole churches. Cleansing is the key to revival and every believer can learn to experience genuine cleansing.

Ken Hemphill and I married in 1969 while we were in college. As we followed the Lord we found each other! Whether in pastoral ministry or denominational service, Ken and I serve together out of a passion to know Christ and to make Him known. God’s blessings are ours, and as His children we have the privilege and responsibility to bless all nations and all peoples with the Good News of Jesus’ love. The loving relationships in our family lay the foundation for fruitful ministry as partners and best friends.
Our three daughters and their husbands are a blessing from the Lord. Their lives and service are a testimony to God’s grace and His desire to empower His followers generation to generation.

Jay Johnston

Jay Johnston serves as the Associate Pastor of FBC Covington, LA. He is a native of New Orleans and is a graduate of LA College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Louisiana, Florida and Tennessee. He also served for twenty years with LifeWay Christian Resources (formerly called the Baptist Sunday School Board.) He is married to Jerilyn Gaspard Johnston and they have two sons Grady who is married to Ann and a son Jody.
